Where the Amish live.
Spotted this little lane a while back so made sure I had my kit with me today as I was passing again.
I'd obviously been spotted, so the locals sent out a gaggle of their finest to interrogate me. With an average age of around 75, the party greeted me with a stern "What ya doin!".
"Photography, a technique called..."
"I can see that" the elderly lady interrupted. "What ya doin!"
I tried my best to explain light painting but they had no idea what I was on about, so though the best approach would be show them a few photos on my camera. "What is it, it's a mess... I don't think we want this kind of thing around here, do we Ethel"
Ethel conferred with Berty, "Tell him we don't want this kind of thing here Berty".
"What is it?" replied Berty, who had no idea what was going on, "Is it a speed camera?"
I decided to leave this scene from the 'League of Gentlemen' (A surreal English black comedy, for those from outside the UK). They didn't wish me a good journey home.

Well done!
`Tubbs: Edward, will more strangers come?
Edward: Calm yourself Tubbs. None shall come...`
I was expecting them to say "This is a local street for local people!"
All the best for Xmas & 2012 mate :-))
