Mausoleum Madness

I had a quick stop off at Brocklesby Mausoleum (while I was without tripod) the other night too. It really wasn't ideal to use only my GorillaPod on ground that slopes down away from the mausoleum. I will return at some point to get some better shots here. The ground isn't great for doming either.

I do have a plan for this place. I returned last night but upon arrival a rather large and very angry sounding dog was barking away. I'm not 100% sure if you're allowed there at night and didn't want to mess with that dog if it belongs to security.

Image is SOOC with no adjustments but has been converted from raw and added watermark.

I'm 100% sure your not!!! That dog scared the crap out of me when I was there. I had jumped the railings into the mausoleam was busy messing sround doing an orb on the top of the stairs when it started. I was half considering leaving my camera I moved that quick. Its a double team place that for sure. I think during open season you would be OK. If I remeber rightly the path is open to the public from April through till August after that is it is closed... Cool LP action BTW.

Thanks Jules. Was planning to jump that fence on my return visit, but yeah double team place it certainly is. Ah just missed the opening time then, nevermind, the old plead ignorance trick usually works.

ha, try pleading ignorance to a big angry dog!

Good shot though, nicely composed.
