Humber Bridge

Spotted this blue orb heading towards the Humber Bridge last night, preparing to make his crossing to the North. I hope he had his £3 toll ready.

Adjusted levels in Lightroom before exporting from RAW. Taken in a single exposure and not edited or Photoshopped. Press 'L' to view on black.

Thanks, I've not really done much large scale light painting before and really enjoyed it. And at well over a mile long they don't come much bigger than this!

I want to put an orb on it, but there are a few problems. For a start, the orb would ridiculously tiny (see how big the street lights are) and also means leaving my camera, walking back to the car park, driving round to the end of the bridge, then walking along the bridge to where I want the orb to be - I recon this is about half an hour, then I need to get back again. A one hour exposure is going to overexpose a little. Then I'd discover my camera has been stolen or eaten by a giant wolf, and I won't be happy. I will however have a think about this ;-)

You could use more people/helpers,bigger orb tool and/or telelens, different camera position! for a start! Your're smart, you figure something out,i'm sure!
