Skidbrooke Church
I was lucky enough to be joined fellow light painters by Jules and Vik Waters, along with his son Joe, during a recent visit to Skidbrooke Church.
The church dates from the 13th century, and has been redundant since November 1973. The internal fittings and fixtures have been long removed, however the stonework structure remains in good condition and the grounds are well kept. This makes for a brilliant location for light painting. The tall arches, columns and buttresses provide plenty of opportunities for a great setting.
This was in fact my second visit to the church, my first being around a month back when I met with Vik. It was great to get back there on a warm, clear night with such good company.
There have been many reports of paranormal activity in the church which is claimed to be the most haunted place in Lincolnshire. The nearest I got to experiencing this was the spooky mask lent to me by Vik.

Thanks Sam, I do believe in ghosts however I didn't experience anything while there, and was on my own for some time after the others left. You know what people's theories are like!
