I have just launched the new Light Painting website, not only showcasing my work but also giving tips and tutorials to other light painters along with an introduction to light painting.
I'll be adding plenty more content as time goes on, and hope this will become a good resource for light painters or people just starting out in light painting around the world. I have already covered some of the basics in the Tools and Tutorials pages, which will steadily grow.
Although I have done by best with these guides, there may be better ways of doing things which I will blog as and when I discover them. I've only been light painting for around 6 months, as always I have learned the skills pretty quick and realise I still have a lot to learn. I welcome any feedback and criticism, it will not only help me with my own light painting, but also help provide accurate information for others through this website.
I'm a website designer by trade, so building this site wasn't too much hassle, but I know there are plenty of others who would like a website to showcase their talents and don't really know where to begin. I have come up with a cunning solution... Free website for all light painters! It's really simple to set up and update, so you can build an online showcase of your work. It's only basic and I'll be adding more features in the future, but I think there is enough there to get you started.
Anyway, that's enough drivel, leave me some comments or drop me an email to let me know what you think of the site and enjoy my images and resources.
Thanks Yogi, appreciate the nice comments. Glad you found the website useful and good luck with your Light Painting.
